Welcome to our Wyrmwick Creations Etsy shop.

Our company directors, as individuals, have been involved in the design and creation of Polyurethane Armour and Props for the TV and Film industries for over 10 years now.

We came together as a team and founded Wyrmwick Creations in 2013. We have spent the last two years creating and originating new pieces, progressing techniques, testing materials and evolving and perfecting our processes. We pride ourselves in our quality, innovation and customer service.

Our work spans many genres and we have worked on Sci-fi, medieval, fantasy and historical arrmour and props. One of our team specialises in Dark Age and Celtic armour, jewellery and design and has made many replicas for museum exhibitions.

We can create moulds and masters ourselves as we have designers, sculptors, armourers and mould makers on the team. We can also do coating, painting and finishing of customers own products and can also spray into moulds supplied by the client.

Some of the most well-known pieces that members of our team have originated are:

Russell Crowe's breastplate in Robin Hood
Channing Tatum's breastplate in The Eagle
Muscle Cuirass for Alexander, with several variants in design
Riot police body armour in Children of Men
Crown for King Arthur in BBC's Merlin
Various body parts and heads for The Dead
Pasiphae's armour in Atlantis
Replicas of the Sutton Hoo Treasure for the Sutton Hoo Visitor Centre
Staffordshire Hoard Cross reconstruction for Lichfield Cathedral
Staffordshire Hoard Helmet and Sword for Tamworth Castle

We have a fully purpose fitted workshop in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside in the UK.

Please note we re-use packaging where possible to help protect the environment.

How long will my order take to arrive? -

Our aim is to ship all orders within 10 working days. However, if you have a specific date you require you items for, please contact us before ordering to ensure we can meet your deadline.

Will it fit? -

All sizes are listed on each item. There is a lot of adjustment in the majority of the body armour but please contact us before ordering if you are unsure whether something will fit.

Are you making more items? -

We are continuously developing new items and improving on our existing products where possible. Please contact us with any particular designs and we may be able to help.

Orders from overseas -

If you wish an order to be shipped to a country not listed in the checkout options, please contact us for a shipping quote.

Can I order a custom design? -

We keep our prices competitive by being able to make many copies from our moulds. We can make items to your design or add group logos to our existing items, where possible. This will incur a moulding cost and a minimum order quantity.

It may also be possible to custom paint any of our items to your own colour scheme (at additional cost).

Is it safe for live role playing? -

All edges are smooth and there are no sharp parts, so it is safe to use in any system (but please check their larp armour rules before purchase).

What material is the armour made from? -

It is made from one of two versions of a polyurethane material. There is a semi-flexible hard version which is used for helmets and armour and a much softer material that we use for our imitation leather and cloth.

How durable is it? -

It is a very strong material. It will not split or crack under normal use or become brittle with age. It is widely used in the film and TV industry both for main armours and for stunt armour.

How durable is the paint? -

The paint will not crack or flake off, however it will scratch with wear and tear like any other painted surface.
